What is ice bath therapy?

Immersing yourself in cold water has immense physical and mental health benefits. There are numerous ways of undertaking cold therapy from simply taking a cold shower at home to indulging in whole body cryotherapy at a wellness center.

Ice baths are one method which have gained in popularity recently. What began as the preserve of athletes and fitness professionals has now extended to anyone wanting to reap the benefits of cold therapy. It’s not advisable to jump straight into a bath of ice though. Our programs will guide you through, gradually increasing your body’s cold exposure and tolerance.

Cold exposure is one of the 3 key pillars of the Wim Hof Method, along with breathwork and confidence.

“We have become alienated from nature, but the cold is capable of bring us back to what we once had lost.” – Wim Hof
